Prerequisites for Creating a Classroom Website Workshop
Skills
Teachers attending this workshop should have basic computer and internet search skills. Teachers do not have to know how to create a web page. Teachers should be able to perform basic word processing functions, such as copy and pasting, and be able to use Microsoft Office programs.
Materials
Teachers do not need to bring any materials to the workshop, other than any note taking supplies found necessary to the individual. Teachers will be creating a live web site. It is suggested, although not required that individuals bring images, documents, or other forms they wish to have on their classroom website. These images/documents should be brought to the workshop in a personal storage device, CD ROM, or flash drive.
